Introduction:

Total Awarded: $2,924,461 (PI - $2,062,052; Co-PI - $862,409)

I have enjoyed support for several projects from a variety of sponsors with varying responsibilities. Prior to 1999, I have served on these projects as a research scientist. Post 1999, I have served either as Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI) or Principal Investigator (PI). The links on the left list only the Post 1999 projects. Their sponsors include The Washington State Department of Ecology, The Puget Sound Parthership, The Makah Tribal Council, BP, The National Science Foundation (NSF) (2002-2004);The San Francisco Bay Water Transit Authority (2002);The PWS Regional Citizen Advisory Council (2002); FEMA (2000-2002) and The Washington State Department of Transportation (1998-1999). A dedicated link is included to the project website for my collaborative NSF research project "Speaking the Truth in Maritime Risk Assessment" with Jason Merrick at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, VA.
