ShivGanga is exactly the same, except for one thing: there are now folding iron shutters across each gate, locked in the evening onwards, apparently to prevent outsiders from breaking in to the guesthouse.

From Connaught:
One of the locked bridges. The gate, not visible, is to

Seeing pictures of all four campus highlights (Library, Mandir, Skylab and ShivGanga) together, I realize that our campus is blessed with features that are both interesting and truly pleasant to wander through. I wonder how many other campuses can boast of similar features? True, BITS-Goa has spectacular views of the Mandovi river, IISc-Bangalore is fabulously green, and IIT-D offers easy access to the best of city life. But, the Pilani campus gets nothing but desert from its surroundings and had to develop its architectural identity on its own. Not bad at all.
