Project

• Projects will be done in a group of 1-2 students.
• In you project, you are encouraged to use any data mining tools.
• Submit your project proposal: Due date February 13, 2025
  • Introduction and motivation
  • Definition of the problem
  • Initial Plan
• In class group presentation: Due date: March 20, 2025.
  • The presentation should include the following:
    • Problem definition
    • Related work
    • The proposed approach
    • The selected dataset.
• Each Project group is required to submit a paper (Project Paper) including the following:
  • Introduction
  • Related work
  • Your approach
  • Experiment results and Discussion:
    • Describe the dataset used, and list your data mining results
  • Conclusion
  • References
• On April 24, 2025, you need to submit electronically the following:
• Project Paper (MS Word)
• A user manual of your project.
• A zipped directory containing the following:
• Source code
• A README.txt file on how to run the project.
