What to remember when submitting work
You are required to submit a zip file for each module (one zip
per module) and a zip file for each assignment (one zip
per assignment.
Please keep the following in mind.
Let's use Module-3 (of any unit) as an example.
- When writing your code
please use the exact same indentation style as used
in the Module examples. That's four spaces of indentation.
The reason? We want your eyes to get used to one indentation
style; this way, it's easy for you to read the examples
AND read your own code.
- When you zip Module 3, please make sure
that all your Java files for all the exercises in
that module (the ones that end with .java) are
in your module3 folder at the moment you create the zip.
- When you answer questions in text, or when you
create drawings, all of these are in module3.pdf.
-
You can use Word or Google-doc and save your file in any which way
but you eventually need to turn that original file into PDF.
This PDF file needs to be in the module3 folder.
- It's a good idea to open your PDF file just to test
that the PDF file can be opened.
- Do NOT include the full Java code of your programs
in the PDF, unless instructed to explicitly by an exercise.
Since the Java programs are already in the folder, they
will get inside the zip file and we'll be able to see them.
- Generally speaking, we expect that your code will at least
compile.
- Your zip file may contain other files such as the .class
files, and in some exercises and assignments there will be
text and image files. Leave all of these in the zip file.
Note: Points will be taken off for not following the above.
