CS 177: Introduction to Bioinformatics

Important information:

The prequisites described in the catalog are incorrect. The current prerequisites are: BiSc 14 (introductory Biology). No programming knowledge is assumed.
There are two offerings of CS177 each year, one in the Fall and one in the Spring.
The Fall offering will give priority to graduate students in the M.S. program. Usually there is enough space to accomodate 12-15 additional students (grads or undergrads).
The Spring offering is primarily for undergraduates. If there's enough space, some grads may be accomodated.
