• Most ED publications focus on textual documents such as: memos, articles, letters, notes, draft documents, manuals, emails, etc.

• Word processors or simple text editors create such texts.

  • MS Word, WordPerfect and notepads of different kinds produce these documents

• Metadata associated with these document formats:

  • Document name
  • File location
  • Size
  • Creation, modification and last access times
  • Attributes of different kinds
