Please join GW alumnus, Col. Frederick D. Gregory, as he reflects on his experience as an astronaut. Col. Gregory has an M.S. in information systems, is a former NASA astronaut, a retired U.S. Air Force Colonel, and the first African-American to command a space shuttle. He has numerous military decorations including the Distinguished Flying Cross for rescuing four marines from a downed chopper in Vietnam.
