The life-cycle model. Requirements and specifications. Design models, structured and object-oriented design. Program development, PDL's tools, configuration control. Program, unit, and integration testing. Program verification. Other development models. Development metrics. Computer-aided software engineering (CASE). Prerequisite: CSCI 210, CSCI 212.

Grading:

There will be three components of the overall Final Grade:

·       Midterm exam (35%) in class closed book

·       Final Exam (35%) in class closed book

·       Homework/Small Research Projects/Project (30%)
