Kinga Dobolyi is an artist and educator living in the Washington DC area for over twenty five years. Her paintings rely on gravity and chemical reactions to bring out natural effects of pigment. Her training is in hard and soft pastels, and she also works in small-format watercolors as well as large canvases with acrylics.
Kinga has a PhD in computer science from the University of Virginia, and is currently a professor in the School of Engineering at George Washington University. Her research interests include computer vision and NLP. She studied art and computer science as an undergraduate at the University of Maryland, College Park.
