Ph.D. STUDENT (COMPLETED)
KRISTA DANIELLE S. YU
Krista is a Visiting Researcher from De La Salle University (DLSU), located in Manila, Philippines. Krista is a faculty member from DLSU's School of Economics and she will pursue an interdisciplinary research with Prof. Joost Santos during her stay in GWU. The collaboration is expected to generate an integrated disaster risk analysis framework comprised of computable general equilibrium (CGE) and critical infrastructure protection/resilience models. Krista will be a Visiting Researcher at GWU for a period of one year and will she be hosted by the EMSE department.
JOANNA RESURRECCION
Joanna Resurreccion completed her doctoral degree in May 2013. Her dissertation research was funded in part by a grant from the National Science Foundation. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research, University of the Philippines. Her research interests include inventory-based input-output modeling for disaster risk analysis, simulation and modeling of transportation, distribution and health care systems, and system performance evaluation and analysis.
