A summary of my research highlights.

I am a faculty member in the Computer Science department at George Washington University. My main areas of research include:

Auxiliary interests include programming language theory, its application to system challenges, and specialized operating systems for high-performance computing.

My current research centers around the Composite component-based operating system. Fine grained system policies, mechanisms, and abstractions are defined as independent components, which are composed together to create a specialized and functional system. In doing so, a focus is on system dependability, predictability, and taking advantage of the increased system flexibility to move OSes beyond their current limits.
