All the reports must
be typed in Word Perfect or MS Word.
Neatness
and consistency are important virtues.
You must also organize your report according
to the section.
Lab Report format:
1. Title of the Experiment
2. Objective of the experiment
3. Any pertinent background information, General formulas, Problem specification, Circuit Diagrams.
4. Resources needed to implement the experiment
(a) anticipated parts list
(b) anticipated equipment list
(c) anticipated wire list
5. Procedures to implement the experiment
6. Results (data tables, graphs etc.)
7. Conclusions (objectives vs. results)
NOTE: Sections 6 & 7 can only be done in the lab. All other sections must be completed before you enter the lab. Failure to complete sections 1 thru 5 before you come to the lab will cause you to waste valuable time and allow you to turn in incomplete work – you will not receive any credit for incomplete work.
When you are finished with your lab work,
have the instructor verify the data that you have entered in your logbook.
The instructor will initial and date your work. All graphs and simulation
sheets must be neatly attached/stapled to the page next to the one containing
the conclusions. Complete the report writing and submit it to your instructor.
Late
submissions will not be graded unless permitted by the lab instructor.
