Map
A map showing the location of the TPC meeting site and other useful locations (hotels, dinner site, metro station, etc.) can be found here. The map is referenced throughout this page.
Lodging
A number of hotels are located within walking distance of the TPC meeting location. Nightly rates typically vary between $150 and $200 per night because of the locations of the hotels. Examples of these hotels that are within 1 mile of the TPC meeting location appear below. A map showing the relative locations of these hotels and others to the TPC meeting location can be found here. Other hotels further away from the TPC meeting location may be cheaper, and still be relatively convenient to get to/from via the Metro.
Please be advised that hotel rooms should be booked as soon as possible as they tend to fill up early.
Transportation
The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) provides rapid transit (Metrorail, "the Metro") for Washington, D.C. and surround areas. The metro station in downtown Washington D.C. that is closest to the TPC meeting is the FOGGY BOTTOM-GWU metro station. Click here for a map showing the relative location of the metro station. It is accessible on both the BLUE LINE and the ORANGE LINE. A map of all of the metro lines is here.
The most convenient airport serving downtown Washington, D.C. is Reagan National Airport (DCA). Either subway or taxi will provide cheap and fast transportation from this airport to the hotels mentioned above. Other airports that are slightly further away, but still accessible by rail train and/or bus are Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI).
Details for how to travel to/from airports, hotels, and the meeting site appear below.
