HOT_Ada Tutorials

Stage Harbor Software produces an inexpensive line of computer-based, graphical, interactive, educational products called HOT_Ada (Hypergraphic courses in Object Technology and Ada 95). These products feature a highly visual approach, with hyperlinks between diagram elements, code listings, textual discussions, glossary, references, etc. They can serve as a complement to traditional text book and/or classroom based learning, or as a stand-alone path to a quick overview and insightful inderstanding. Both Windows and Macintosh versions are available -- distributed on diskettes.

• Volume 1: Pictorial Overview to Object Technology and Ada 95

• Volume 2: Case Study (a game) -- steps through OOA, OOD, OOP using Model-View-Controller approach

• Volume 3: Completes GUI part of game, illustrating use of Thomson's ObjectAda GUI Builder (available late summer '96, Windows only)

• Later Volumes: Domain-specific case studies developed jointly with world-class domain experts
