DDC-I Academic Donation Program (DAD)


As a supplier of software development tools for safety critical embedded applications, DDC-l recognizes the need for continued software engineering support in the academic community world-wide. Dedicated to continued Ada educational development, DDC-l supports accredited educational institutions through the DDC-I Academic Donation program, (DAD).

Ada 83 technology available from DDC-l in the DAD program includes native and cross compilers, debuggers and related toois. Host development plafforms include PC for Windows NT, Sun SPARC/Solaris or SunOS, VAX/VMS, DECstation/ULTRIX, MIPS/RISC OS, SGI Iris/IRIX, 386 UNIX System V, PS2/AIX, and Sun3/SunOS. Targets for cross compilers include Pentium, 80x86, 80860, 68xxx, Mips and 1750A.

DDC-l's next generation Ada 95 Compiler Systems (DACS-95) feature multi-language, multi-target through the Architectural Neutral Distribution Format (ANDF) technology. DACS-95, promises valuable support to educational programs in the near future.
