Structure and Purpose of the Questions

• Q1: Can the subject derive information using the child-package to parent-package relationship? Optimal performance: 5 links (unlinked group); 3 links (linked group)
• Q2: Can the subject go up an inheritance hierarchy? Opimal performance: three searches (unlinked); 3 links (linked group)
• Q3: Can the subject follow both a derived-type to parent-type relationship, and a link from typeÕs use to its declaration? Optimal performance: 2 links (linked group); Search or move between index and packages (unlinked group)
• Q4: Simliar to Question 3, but deeper in hierarchy. Optimal performance: five search strings (unlinked); 5 links (linked group)
• Two-step solution. Experts should get it; novices might.
