My research group currently works on statistical election audits, more specifically ballot polling election audits. We have been developing approaches which make more efficient use of the information obtained by the audit; most of our approaches are implemented in the R2B2 library, originally designed by then undergraduate Sarah Morin. The MINERVA audit was used for a statutory audit of the 2020 primary elections in Montgomery County, Ohio. It has also been integrated into the Arlo election audit software as an option. Providence was used to audit the Rhode Island elections of 2021.
